  1. I have been walking the rail trail in Jamaica, the section from Gilfeather Lane , north towards Jamaica State Park. I can get about a mile and half up it until I run into 2 large downed pine trees across it. I know it is private land but it says it is part of the Vermont Land Trust. Are there plans to officially add this section to the trail.

I love walking it right now because very few people know about so perfect distancing. The trail part that goes north in Jamaica state park has been packed.

  2. Hi Linda,
Thank you for your question and comments. I will forward your comments to the chair of the FWRT board and ask him to get back to you about any plans for the section of trail you are referring to.
    Best,
